WHAT ENGINEERING & DESIGN INCLUDES
Radio System Coverage Analysis
We provide radio system coverage analysis for existing and proposed systems using current radio propagation software. Parameters are tuned to reflect realistic terrain and land use, producing coverage outputs you can use to evaluate options and support design decisions.
LMR/P25 System Design & Implementation Support
We design and support implementation of radio communication systems for public safety, transportation, utilities, and federal/state/local agencies. Our experience includes P25 Phase I/II, trunked and conventional, across VHF, UHF, and 700/800 MHz frequency bands.
Backhaul Network Design
We design backhaul networks using private and commercial fiber optic, microwave, and mesh solutions. Designs focus on availability and resiliency, including options such as ring topology, diverse paths, and monitored hot-standby configurations based on client needs and specifications.
Radio Communications Site Design
We provide design services for communications sites including site layout, physical security, grounding and lightning protection, shelter design/layout, and specifications for electrical, HVAC, tower/shelter structures and foundations, and backup power (UPS, generators, ATS, AC/DC power systems). Designs align with applicable standards and regulations such as NFPA, TIA, FCC, and FAA.
